Finance department will link the payment and GRN to gather and link those vouchers to the asset code, which is already defined to the system. An Asset Ledger is the final outcome of the system, which will be used for depreciation purpose and balance sheet support document.

The utility has been a need of an hour to various inhouse application to get the data from SAP-ECC and SAP-HCM for their functioning. The utility has been designed in such a way that with maintaing some parameters in configuration table, it will connect to respective SAP system and get the data (list of fields can be configured) from specific table based on filter condition to any database (again configurable).
This generic utility has made life easy for various inhouse application development team, as they do not have to write multiple code to invoke various remote function call (RFCs) and SAP-ABAP development team for not creating multiple RFCs.
